In 1999, Jeri Smith founded Galmont Consulting, a world-class provider of expert quality assurance, testing, and project management services. Today, Galmont has more than 60 highly skilled consultants and has seen its client base grow annually by 50%. Smith spearheads all service line, new business, and partnership development and is dedicated to maintaining a brilliant roster of industry experts.

As her business and community networks expanded, Smith came in contact with many senior-level, high-caliber attorneys who had left their associate and partner-track positions at top legal firms to pursue a healthier work/life balance. Recognizing these attorneys could add considerable value to corporate legal departments and law firms, Smith launched Galmont Legal.

Prior to founding Galmont Consulting, Smith was National Sales Director for the technology division of Spherion, a multibillion dollar staffing corporation. She also worked as the branch manager of Spherion's San Francisco office where she was solely responsible for managing the $60 million operation and its 200 employees. Her experience also includes sales and general management positions at Intercall Corporation, the world's largest audio and Web conference service provider.

Smith is a member the Chicago Quality Assurance Association, the Chicago Software Association and the Technology Executives Club. She also serves on the Junior Boards of the Uhlich Children's Advantage Network and the Chicago Infant Welfare Society.
